Continuing Education
The Colorado Division of Real Estate requires that all Broker Associates attend approved continuing education classes. Those classes are provided through the local Real Estate Boards and the Community Education Department at Delta-Montrose Technical College.
Course Availability
The Real Estate program is a one-semester program offered twice a year. Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Course Descriptions
REE103 Real Estate Brokers I 6 Credits
Enables the student to meet the educational requirements of the Colorado Real Estate Commission for a Colorado Real Estate Brokers license. Includes real estate law and practice, practical application, and current legal issues.
REE104 Real Estate Brokers II 5 Credits
Enables the student to meet the educational requirements of the Colorado Real Estate Commission for a Colorado Real Estate Brokers license. This course includes Colorado contracts and regulations, real estate closings, trust accounts, and record keeping.
REE115 Introduction to Real Estate 3 Credits
Focuses on the function of the real estate broker, sales techniques, and real estate ethics. This course is intended for students that want to enter the profession, for salespeople who need a review, and for those desiring a basic knowledge of the real estate business.
REE175 Special Topics: Exam Prep .5 Credit
This class is for students who have completed REE103 and REE104 or the equivalent and who want additional assistance in preparing to take the licensing exam for the Colorado Real Estate Brokers license.
